02. Temporary New York Life

Zine Design
Temporary New York Life is a photography and typography zine which includes photographs that I took during my college time in New York. I included Allen Ginsberg’s poem Howl, Sylvia Plath’s poem Ariel & Mirror, and Patti Smith’s article, Just Kids in this zine, and designed the typography in an experimental layout. Theose three authors each had experiences in New York and I feel deeply touched when I read their works. Thus, I chose these works to to combine with my photography. I took these photos randomly in the streets and various tourist spots of New York, such as the Staten Island Ferry to show the “real” New York.
